July - Design - Leaves

After the success in our insect design work, we moved on to our next design in nature, leaves and twigs
We considered our starting point and the rule of thirds.

Dina is using pastel paper
A  Skeleton leaf is part of Janet L's design

Annie is quick to add colour

...and so...from pencil and into colour

Lovely textured work Pat P
Textured twigs unite and compliment the leaves

Janet C considers text and net in her design
Great fluidity Margaret Bos
Annie has taken a section of her work and enlarged it using black and white (above)
Our design is coming on beautifully in mixed media
Meanwhile, our story rolls and jar work is still being completed
Pat D - A Nutella jar has never looked so good
Seaside jar and baby cotton reel - Dawn

Roberta's hand embroidered story roll continues to grow

     A family of Debbie's jars
 Ruth's projects...
Ruth's Art van Gogh prints have been cut up to apply and stitch

Finished leaf designs will appear in September after celebrating our successful year at our annual August Garden party
Well done ladies
Jude
