2020 - New Year...New challenges

Christmas is over and the planning begins today for our new year - 2020. We have made decisions regarding individual work and a group project. We will design, stitch, weave and print for starters! Nothing like having a plan! We are going to kick off with an embroidered Hand - our own individual hands which may, or may not be joined together when complete. Either way we will have our hands kept for prosterity.

Today was very much a 'catch up' day and the room was full of 'slow, meditative hand stitching.' Exactly what the Doctor ordered.

Thank you ladies...don't forget your homework (collecting your card/papers for collagraph printing and thinking about a design for your hand which we start in February).
