April meeting 2015

The sunshine brought almost everyone out today.

 

We collected some of the Hundertwasser work together and had a wonderful time looking at them together. It will be fun to watch this colourful project develop with the addition of trees between some of the pieces.

The ABC travelling sketchbooks are in some of the pictures. We are all so proud of these and utterly thrilled with how they are developing. Ladies are so inventive and taking great pride in their work. They really are a joy to behold.

Jude began a new piece - the fabric is printed using a variety of techniques - the hand embroidery begins today. Ideas taken from a frottage in the sketch book









 Roberta too is ready to begin a new piece with this fabric.
 

 

Debbie works on her set of cushion covers - this is the last one (apparently).

Di managed a repair job on a bra - I think this is a first for the group!
